![]() If you’ve made it this far than I want to thank you for sticking around and following along. It truly is always hot there, which is part of the reason we moved states. We are from Florida where fireplaces are big and if you have one you probably rarely use it. Before anyone asks I figured I should also share how we made our stocking holder and you can find that post here. For now my hubby and myself share a hook and it works fine for us. And yes I know we need to add a 6th hook to our stocking holder… but all in time. ![]() And honestly I love them as ornaments too and decided to share a photo so you can see how cute they work for that also. So when I was done making ours, I decided to to put on our tree and see how it worked out. It makes them very versatile and easily to match anything. The fun part about the printable tags is that I kept them pretty plain and simple. You can easily do more beads on yours or even none at all. ![]() I kept the amount of beads pretty short as I wanted some of the twine to show too. Otherwise hang the finished stocking tag on the hook with your stockings like I how I did with mine If your tiring to your stockings tie to them first. Tie a knot near the end of your string and cut off the taped area. Not to close so it doesn’t put strain on your paper tag and tear it Thread your beads on in your desired order.Use a small piece of tape to tape your two ends together and create a fine point to thread through your wood beads.Cut your twine to your desired length when folded in half.Use the hole punch to remove the circle for your twine Print off and cut out the letters you need from my printable below.Printable Tags (found at the bottom of this post). And below that I share how to make our stocking holder that I absolutely love too! Below you can find the super easy directions on how to make one of your own. Which also means I just had to share the DIY here for anyone that was looking for a similar look to label their matching stockings too. I cut some twine and added a couple of wooden beads and kinda fell like they were perfect this time. ![]() So I made us some printable tags (you candied where to download the entire alphabet for free at the bottom of this post). But I also wanted to keep it very simple and cute. So this year I knew I wanted to get a little more creative for our stocking tags. I was pretty lazy with having a newborn and 3 younger kids. Last year I just slapped on some name tags and called it a done deal for the time being. Well now that we all have the exact same stockings I needed to get creative with labeling who’s is who’s. But these ones he could get on board with. He did wasn’t very fond of the style and probably never would actually ever said yes to them. I’m sure he was just happy that I finally stopped asking for the sweater knit ones. We decided on these candy cane striped ones and I don’t regret it one bit. So last year when it was time to pick out a stocking for our newest little I figured I’d try once again and so I came home with two different styles of stockings matching for our entire family.Īnd well after many years of trying to convince him, it finally worked. His and mine were the basic normal ones and our first 3 kids had charting character ones. He really like us all using our original stockings we had. I really had my heart set on one day getting us some matching sweater knit ones. For the longest time I tried to talk my husband into letting me get our boys and us matching stockings.
